A Lesson in Trees

Jeremiah 17:8
For   you who love and follow God will be "as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit."

Giving

We learned about an art movement that promotes 'random acts of art' to enrich the lives of people in a community.  These free art offerings are left in public places to bring a gift of beauty and share artistic effort through art or craft.  We plan to include this in the program and give into the community.
But Peter said, "I don't have any silver or gold for you. But I'll give you what I have.
In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene..." -- Acts 3:6

Creating

Paint and Pray continued its exploration of the theme of "creation" with a verses from Genesis and the Psalms.  The, the night's guest instructor, shared about perspective and middle ground in landscapes. The process of life and of painting goes on! Several new people joined us for the evening and many returning faces for a fun evening.
